London Luton Airport Limited (LLAL) is owned by Luton Borough Council. They want to increase the number of flights travelling via Luton Airport from current levels of just over 9.5 million to 18 million, this will effectively double the size of the airport.

LADACAN: www.ladacan.org.uk Ladacan has campaigned tirelessly against the expansion of Luton Airport. Their website includes analysis of the jobs claims made by LLAL, an explanation of the problems of measuring and reporting noise and critical questions that we and our political representatives should all be asking.
HALE: (Hertfordshire Against Luton Expansion) www.hale.uk.net includes valuable analysis which proves that noise levels at Luton Airport are significantly increasing and many other points to consider and include in an objection to these plans.
GL Hearn would like you to complete their consultation questionnaire but we are concerned that this will allow them to lead your response in certain directions. It is important to make your own views known in writing and to copy your concerns to your local councils and politicians and make sure that they are spending time fully understanding this issue than the threats that it presents to our quality of life.
All councils at every level should be making a formal response to this consultation – is your council?
It’s critical to lobby political leaders and particularly Members of Parliament. You should be asking your MP whether this consultation contains the detailed and balanced analysis that is needed for a change of this scale.
